Light & Land Course: Foundations - From Taking to Making Photographs

6-week Course via zoom

Do you have a camera but only ever shoot in Auto Mode?

Do you want to move beyond Auto but find the process too daunting?

Do you enjoy photographing but are often disappointed with the results?

In this course, you will move your photography to the next level. The sessions will cover the technical and creative basics you need to understand in order to take control of your image-making process.

Learn about the three pillars of photography – shutter speed, aperture and ISO. Understand depth of field and the exposure triangle. Explore the characteristics of light and how it affects your photographs. Study the rules of composition and discover how filters work. Develop your own project. And, finally, let me produce a print of one photograph you have made that you are happy to have on your wall!

Short assignments can be done between sessions, and course material will be provided.

For more information, and to book your place, visit the Light & Land website here.
