COSMOPOLITAN LIVERPOOL

The ‘Liverpool Maritime Mercantile City’ was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2004 - testament to the historical significance of the development of port and city, which accelerated in the 18th century and has taken an interesting positive turn lately.

We will start our photography workshop at Liverpool’s Metropolitan Cathedral, a spectacular building, the likes of which one would be hard pressed to find elsewhere. The group will then move to the city’s waterfront with its eclectic mix of old and new architecture, where we will have countless opportunities to capture Liverpool’s cosmopolitan character and rustic charm.

YORK - ENGLAND's ETERNAL CITY

Founded by the Romans, later called Jórvík by the Vikings, York has played an important role in England’s history for close to 2000 years. It is a city of great beauty, enticing visitors with its timeless charm, which makes it a photographer’s dream. Our workshop will be based in the medieval centre, where we can best appreciate York’s rich and colourful character. Short strolls will take us down narrow streets, little changed since the Middle Ages, and some of the easily missed Snickelways.

When Night Falls - London Photography Workshop

London provides photographers with endless opportunities to capture the hustle and bustle of street life, architecture, grand views and unique, unrepeatable little moments in the life of its people. The city never sleeps, and when the day fades away and the lights come on, a whole new world appears – and it brings with it new and exciting opportunities to make interesting photographs.

During our workshop, we will explore how London changes when night falls. We will photograph iconic views across the river and will discover how the appearance of some of the city’s most recognisable buildings is transformed when they are lit by artificial light.

BULGARIA PHOTOGRAPHY TOUR with Light & Land

Bulgaria sits in the south-eastern corner of Europe and, despite its small geographical size, boasts a surprising variety of breathtaking natural beauty and a rich and ancient history, shaped by Neolithic settlers, Thracians, Romans, Celts, Proto-Bulgarians, Slavs and Ottomans.

Our photography tour will take us from villages near the western border with Serbia all the way to the Black Sea coast in the east, allowing us to experience the country and its people away from the tourist trails and observe local life at an altogether different and slower pace, something few tourists will ever do.
