YORK - ENGLAND's ETERNAL CITY

Light & Land Workshop

Founded by the Romans, later called Jórvík by the Vikings, York has played an important role in England’s history for close to 2000 years. It is a city of great beauty, enticing visitors with its timeless charm, which makes it a photographer’s dream. Our workshop will be based in the medieval centre, where we can best appreciate York’s rich and colourful character. Short strolls will take us down narrow streets, little changed since the Middle Ages, and some of the easily missed Snickelways. We will spend some time photographing in York Minster, and in the Museum Gardens, where we’ll capture the stark silhouette of the ruined St Mary’s Abbey and the beautiful colours of autumn.

If you are interested in this workshop, please get in touch here for the waiting list. Bookings will open once the situation around Covid-19 has become clearer.
