Bath Impressions

Light & Land Workshop

Nestled in a cosy corner of the south west of England, and only an hour and a half on the train from the capital, Bath has one of the most atmospheric, and photogenic city centres in the UK. Blessed with some of the finest Georgian architecture this country has to offer, including the famed Royal Crescent, Pulteney Bridge et al, it’s a treasure trove of historical quirk and charm. And at Christmas time, with its host of independent shops and restaurants, it truly comes alive.

Our workshop will concentrate on developing our skills in what are often referred to as “Creative Photography” techniques, in particular Intentional Camera Movement (ICM) and In Camera Multiple Exposures.

I will be joining forces with Bill Ward. Bill is a regular writer/contributor for the worldwide ICM Photography Magazine, and is particularly evangelical about the ability of Creative Photography to get right under the skin of a place, a time, a feeling, and reveal their very essence.
